Uno Chicago Grill Get Together
Join us on Wed., Sept. 8th, 6pm, at Uno Chicago Grill in S. Burlington (1330 Shelburne Rd.). We'll enjoy a GF meal together, meet new friends, and catch up with those we already know. Spring Potluck
Twenty of us gathered for a Spring Pot Luck at Healthy Living on Dorset St. in Burlington on Saturday, May 8th in their new food education room. If you haven't seen it, it's worth taking a peak next time you're in the store. Thank you Healthy Living for hosting us in this great facility!
Past Events
It's always fun to see our gluten-free friends, meet new ones, and see how children are growing and thriving on the GF diet.
We enjoyed lots of tasty GF dishes, and sample desserts supplied from 3 companies: King Arthur, 1-2-3 Gluten Free, and Josef. Too many cakes and cookies to eat!
Our next meeting will probably be a summer BBQ--we'll keep you posted as plans develop and hope to see you there!
The Baking Demo on Feb. 27th was a huge success with over 25 people attending. Thank you, Lois and team! We learned to make breakfast items, including cinnamon raisin bread, scones, biscuits, buttermilk pancakes and quiche. Lois provided recipes and tips for everything and there were yummy samples, of course.
She plans to offer classes on a regular basis in the future and we'll try to keep you updated with the dates and topics.
